About the role Responsible for all planning activities related to Tier shipments, customer contact, and EDI transactions. Salary increase upon hire. Responsibilities* First point of contact of the customers Works with the Purchase Orders received from the customers. Produce/Check/Validate/Send/Confirm orders before they are shipped to the customer Work closely with Inventory Analyst with setting up new part numbers in the system. Work closely with transportation company regarding customer deliveries Works closely with Quality team members regarding Quality issues Essential Skills College degree preferred. Two years related experience or equivalent education preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Strong interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in MS Office. Preferred Skills Advanced Excel knowledge is helpful with maintaining/updating Customer Order files. Forklift experience helpful for expediting orders Automotive experience in customer service or its equivalent within a distribution environment.
