Account Coordinator - Production

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our print shop team as a Mail and Digital Print Specialist. This full-time position is responsible for operating digital print equipment, preparing and processing mailings, and ensuring high-quality production standards are met on all print and mail projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both digital printing and mail preparation, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

• Operate digital print machines and related equipment for production runs, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Prepare, process, and package outgoing mailings, ensuring compliance with postal regulations and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to schedule print jobs, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Review print and mail job specifications to ensure accuracy of output and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, binding, and inserting as required for print and mail projects.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials needed for print and mail operations.
• Communicate with customers regarding job requirements, timelines, and delivery details.
• Assist with digital file management, proofing, and minor graphic edits as needed.
• Support overall print shop cleanliness and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in printing, graphics, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with digital print technologies (e.g., Xerox, Konica Minolta, Ricoh) and finishing equipment.
• Knowledge of USPS regulations and mail preparation standards.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat; basic graphic design skills a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
