WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless networking, secure remote connectivity, and hybrid cloud environments. Experience with network automation, scripting, APIs, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts is preferred. Industry certifications such as CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional, Juniper Networks Certified Professional, or equivalent are desirable. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities independently, mentor technical staff, and a commitment to continuous learning. Employees are enrolled in Washington State PERS and may enroll in deferred compensation plans. Employees will also receive eight hours of vacation leave an sick leave every month and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. SALARY: Employees are compensated within the established salary range. As skills, experience, and sustained performance grow, pay may progress within the range over time, with midpoint serving as a general reference point for employees who demonstrate full proficiency in the role.
