ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the Community Foundation of Acadiana in their search for a Vice President of Philanthropy. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Philanthropy will be a key member of the Foundation's leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing donor cultivation and engagement strategies designed to grow long-term assets, actively connect generous people to meaningful giving and build the foundation's expectancies from planned gifts and legacies. The Vice President will also lead efforts to enhance external partnerships with wealth managers and professional advisors. The Vice President will be a self-motivated, passionate, and civically minded professional who can support the Foundation's efforts to expand and deepen its work to improve the region and meet the needs of donors, partners, and neighbors. For 26 years, the Community Foundation of Acadiana has served as a trusted steward of philanthropic resources. CFA has been there when the region needed it most: from supporting catalytic projects like Moncus Park to strengthening nonprofit partners across eight parishes and deploying millions in hurricane relief. But today, they stand at an inflection point, ready to leverage their experience and community knowledge for even greater impact. CFA is proud to serve the culturally rich and diverse region known as Acadiana, with a primary focus on the eight parishes of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Through strong local relationships and parish-based affiliate foundations, they support initiatives that reflect the values, history, and aspirations of each unique community. Everything they do is guided by a single belief: generosity has the power to shape communities and transform futures. In August 2026, CFA received a commitment of $25 million from SpaceX the largest single gift in its 26-year history to help Acadiana prepare for and shape the growth coming from its new spaceport project in Vermilion Parish. It is a remarkable vote of confidence in CFA and a glimpse of what's ahead, and as growth in the region accelerates, so will what is asked of the Foundation. To move from being primarily transactional to being transformational, the Community Foundation of Acadiana must invest in its own growth capacity. A bachelor's degree and at least five years of leadership experience in developing, implementing and adapting strategies to attract and engage donors or customers is required for this position. Foundation of Acadiana will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. If you are excited about this role and feel that you can contribute to CFA, but your experience does not exactly align with every qualification listed above, we encourage you to apply. All applications must be accompanied by a cover letter and rsum. Cover letters should be responsive to the mission of CFA and the responsibilities and qualifications specified in the position prospectus. The target salary for this position is $150,000. CFA offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer contributions, remote work opportunities, and generous paid time off. Community Foundation of Acadiana is committed to the inclusion of all qualified candidates. If you require reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, or participating in the selection process, please contact Kim Farr at kimfarr@aspenleadershipgroup.com.
