Skilled Laborer

HELP WANTED The Borough of Sharpsville is accepting applications for a Full-Time Skilled Labor Position within the Municipalitys Public Works Department. This is an entry level position. Applications can be picked up at the Sharpsville Municipal Building, 1 South Walnut Street, Sharpsville, PA 16150 and are due by Monday, January 6, 2025 at 3: 00 p.m. Applications received after that date and time will not be accepted.The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week and will be expected to be available to work varying or extended shifts from time to time as may be required. The successful candidate must possess or obtain an active and valid Class B CDL with air brakes within probationary period of 180 days. The successful candidate should have experience working in a labor intensive environment, working with heavy equipment and be able to lift and move heavy objects. Municipal water and sewer systems experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be required to reside within the Sharpsville Area School District.
