JOB SUMMARY: The School of Business at Greensboro College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Business faculty position to begin August 2025. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Department of Business Administration and Economics which may include but are not limited to: Operations Management, Marketing Research, Digital Marketing, Business Policy and Strategy, and Application of Business Analytics. The final teaching assignments will be based on the candidates academic strengths and previous teaching experience. The School of Business offers undergraduate majors in Accounting, Business Administration and Economics (with concentrations in marketing, management, and human resources management), and Supply Chain Management as well as minors in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, and Accounting. The Department of Business Administration and Economics offers a traditional on-campus program, and an online Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Organizational Leadership. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred qualifications of the successful candidate will include a doctorate in marketing or a closely related field (ABD candidates will be considered provided degree is successfully completed prior to start date). Masters degree in marketing or MBA with marketing industry experience may be considered. The qualified candidate will have the ability and desire to teach and mentor students, promote diverse perspectives in the classroom; and engage in a highly collaborative and increasingly diverse environment.
