PLANNER II - $68,532 - $92,519 ABOUT THIS POSITION - The Town of Basalt is accepting applications for a Planner II position. This opportunity is one of five positions within our Planning Department. This position is an important part of the Town’s planning and development services team and performs various professional and technical level planning work on challenging, complex, and/or sensitive planning projects in support of the Town’s Master Plan and administration of the Town’s zoning and subdivision regulations under the supervision of other positions in the planning department. The successful candidate possesses a team-oriented, collaborative, and organized working style, with excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain positive relationships, and responsiveness to the community. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Master’s degree in city or regional planning, landscape architecture, or closely related field or a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional level experience and with some level of previous experience in planning department.
