Director of Executive Education, African School of Governance Location: Kigali, Rwanda The African School of Governance (ASG) is a newly established, independent, pan-African graduate professional school situated in Kigali, Rwanda, seeking to offer a unique blend of world-class public policy and leadership education, research, and policy engagement that embraces its distinctive African identity. Established in 2024, ASG was born from the vision of African leaders seeking to cultivate the next generation of scholars, professionals and leaders. The school aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills and mindset to tackle the major governance challenges facing Africa and the world in the 21st century and beyond. ASG is seeking a visionary Director of Executive Education to provide leadership for the design of executive courses that address market needs, aligned with the ASG vision and mission, and the development of the delivery model and strategy for Executive Education. This role is pivotal in shaping the future leaders of Africa through innovative and impactful Executive Education programs. The Director of Executive Education will collaborate with the senior leadership of ASG to define the financial model and KPIs for the Executive Education program. They will work closely with the Director of Academic Affairs to design and oversee the delivery of executive courses. The role will also lead on the development and implementation of campaigns for student recruitment and the identification and onboarding of partnerships to support Executive Education at ASG. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in Executive Education. They will have a proven track record in academic program delivery and in designing and operationalizing delivery models for Executive Education programs. They should be well-versed in current trends and best practices in Executive Education. This individual will demonstrate a commitment to Africa and a mindset capable of challenging established orthodoxies about development and governance on the continent. Individuals who are able to work fluidly in a start-up environment will excel in this position. The position would require full, on campus, presence in Kigali, Rwanda.
