Manufacturing Engineer The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for monitoring current operations and determining more efficient production processes; including analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, and reducing inefficiency. A successful Manufacturing Engineer will be able to design systems and processes that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality. From time-to-time position may require working on site as part of a beta testing team, job will require Confidentiality of Information and Protecting Company Assets including Intellectual Property. Supervisor Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities Review processes, specifications, and related information Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades Design systems to minimize costs and production issues Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase quotes, cost analyses, and estimated production costs Design the layout of facilities determine personnel requirements Manage process documentation Analyze production data and generate reports to identify improvements projects. Develop automatic systems for data collection from machines using IOT principles. Project Management Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure that all parties are on track with manufacturing related project requirements, deadlines, and schedules Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution Facilitate change requests and inform all parties of potential changes that may impact schedules and budgets Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements Skills and Qualifications Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation skills Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Documentation and organization skills Strong project management skills Advanced Data analytics skills Advanced Data handling and Visualization skills Technical Expertise Proficiency in MS Office Advanced Excel Power query and VBA SQL Knowledge Solidworks Must have at least a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering. Must have completed graduate level coursework in Supply Chain Optimization, Design Decision Making, and Regression Methods. Job Location: Montgomeryville, PA.
