The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas is a private, non-profit
organization dedicated to providing home care, transportation, housing, and
access to senior centers for aging individuals across ten counties in
Southeast Arkansas. We take pride in having served this community since
1979.
We are currently seeking a motivated Chief Operating Officer to further our
mission. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to advance their
career.
Key responsibilities for this role may include, but not limited to:
- Budget Management – assist in budget oversight and resource
allocation.
- Program Management – oversee daily operations and adjust programs
to meet the needs of the elderly.
- Staff supervision – manage, hire, and evaluate for staff performance.
- Compliance – ensure adherence to regulations and prepare necessary
reports.
- Community Outreach – build relationships with service providers and
advocate for older adults.
- Quality Assurance – evaluate and improve service quality to meet
community needs.
- Policy Development – assist in policy creation and stay updated on
industry trends.
To qualify for this position, an applicant must have the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Public
Administration
- 10 years in program management with supervisory and budgeting
responsibilities within the aging and socials services field.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
- Knowledge of aging services and regulations.
