The position is full-time and ON-SITE * The company has over 50 years of engineering, designing, and producing high quality, custom designed and fabricated stainless steel and aluminum vacuum chamber, high pressure tanks, storage tanks and reactors. The Role We are seeking an experienced procurement + quality control manager where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) quality control management across the organization. you will ensure the organization secures high-quality goods and services at optimal costs while managing ASME quality control activities such as dealing with ASME inspectors, creating documents and coordinating ASME annual reviews. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support day-to-day procurement activities, but not limited to, evaluation of requisitions, sourcing and negotiating best value with suppliers, and issuance of purchase orders. Reviews purchase requisitions and confers with suppliers to obtain product information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Receives price quotes from vendors, compares quotes against requirements and the budget. Implement and maintain ASME standards throughout all areas of production. Coordinate external ASME review. Supports quality and engineering staff with activities such as product testing and inspection. processes and reviews ASME certification and documents creation Education Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Experience Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the metal industry (required) 3+ years years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain (preferred) 3+ years of experience with quality systems (preferred) strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
