City of Brooklyn Employment Opening Notice The City of Brooklyn invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Mechanic within the City Service Department. There is currently one (1) opening. Interested applicants can obtain employment applications on the City of Brooklyn’s website. A properly completed and signed application using the City Employment Application Form must be submitted to the address below (in person, mail or email). Minimum Qualifications for Positions: High school or GED equivalent, plus experience and/or training in the fields of automotive and heavy truck repair and maintenance, mower and small engine repair, shop equipment, or; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License Class B or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire date.
