We’re looking for a dedicated Supervising Custodian with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

Position Details:

• Day Shift at the Intermediate School
• Salary: $50,000–$55,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Great Benefits + NYS Retirement
• Civil Service Position (Provisional appointment; must meet minimum qualifications with an exam to be held at a later date.)

Prior supervisory experience Knowledge of institutional/commercial cleaning Strong communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; and

1. A) Three (3) years of experience in building cleaning or maintenance work and two (2) years of experience supervising the work of others; 

or

1. B) Three (3) years of experience in any of the standard mechanical trades, construction trades or closely related field, and two (2) years of experience supervising the work of others.
