Duration: Full-Time, 10 Weeks (Summer Internship)
Position Overview
The Next Generation X-ray Optics (NGXO) program at NASA Goddard is developing cutting-edge mirror technology for future X-ray space telescopes that will enable transformational science on black holes, galaxy clusters, and the cosmic evolution of matter and energy. We are seeking summer interns at the technician level to assist with hands-on research and development activities in support of this mission.
This 10-week, full-time internship is open to current undergraduate students pursuing degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related fields. Interns will work side-by-side with NASA scientists and engineers in a dynamic, multidisciplinary laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities
