Middle School Turkish Language and Literature Teacher

Young Scholars of Western Pennsylvania Charter School (YSWPCS) is looking to hire a Middle School Turkish Language and Literature Teacher, in Pittsburgh, PA, who will be responsible for teaching middle school students in the courses in Turkish language and literature and related sub-topics. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language, Applied Linguistics, or a related field. A successful candidate must be fluent in Turkish and have two (2) years of experience in: Teaching and developing a language curriculum to middle or high (secondary) school students; Developing lesson plans, course objectives and outlines according to curriculum standards; Selecting workbooks and textbooks; Managing project-based learning activities; Designing individualized learning plans for students; and Coordinating extracurricular programs and preparing students for multicultural events.
