Substation Engineer

Grays Harbor Public Utility District is seeking a full-time electrical engineer to perform engineering required for the planning, design, construction and support of the District's substations and related systems, including the SCADA system.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Power utility experience is preferred, and candidates with other relevant experience and qualifications are encouraged to apply.  Must have a valid Driver’s license.  Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Washington is preferred.

The successful candidate will be hired at Level I, II, or III depending on experience.  This position is a bargaining unit position represented by IBEW Local 77.
