Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a dean of health professions. This position oversees and manages the health professions division of the college, providing oversight to and supervision of department heads concerning curriculum and course planning, program administration, development and assessment of programs, program accreditation, and fiscal management.

Essential Duties
-

- Oversees the health professions programs, providing oversight and guidance to department heads for curriculum and course planning, program administration, development and assessment of programs, and fiscal management
- Oversees all programmatic accreditation activities, visits, and reports
- Oversees coordination of class scheduling, budgets, curriculum and catalog revisions with the health profession departments; evaluates enrollment patterns, cost/benefit information, employment statistics and other data to identify class schedule opportunities and program development; and responds to student needs
- Provides support to issues related to faculty, staff and students and provides input, support, guidance and administration of other external grants
- Expands and improves relationships with external partners to enhance pathways for student advancement and transfer, and provides expanded clinical site opportunities
- Participates on college committees and organizes and/or chairs as requested/required
- Provides student academic advising services and champions student success strategies to improve retention and program completion
- Assists the vice president for academic affairs with special projects
- Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
-
- Master's degree
- Six years of college teaching with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role and proven success in program planning, strategic planning, assessment and change management
- Strong purchase order, grant administration, budget management, computer and application skills
- Valid driver's license
- Preference will be given to candidates with a doctorate degree and two years of patient-centered clinical experience in one of the disciplines that the dean will oversee

Supplemental Information

This is a full-time standard administrative position with excellent fringe benefits. Days and Hours of work are Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4: 30 p.m. (1 hour lunch). The starting salary for this position will likely range from $107,500 to approximately $ 131,750 depending on qualifications and experience
