Role Overview

At W.T. Nickell Label Company, we are on the lookout for an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to enhance our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires an individual capable of efficiently operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses. Your role will be pivotal in delivering top-notch printing quality and collaborating closely with our pre-press specialists. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, be detail-oriented, and possess substantial knowledge of flexographic printing techniques.

Primary Duties

Operate and maintain flexographic printing equipment

Ensure print quality is up to standards and make any necessary adjustments to maintain consistency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or printing issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
Work collaboratively with the pre-press team to ensure an efficient setup and production process.
Uphold cleanliness and safety protocols in and around the printing area.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in flexographic printing (required)
Strong mechanical skills paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.
Expertise in machine operation and conducting quality control checks.
Understanding of pre-press processes and coordination.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing exceptional output.
High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is necessary.
