Position Summary: The School of Health Sciences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Instructor/Assistant Lecturer position within the Dental Hygiene program, beginning January 2026. This is a part-time, term, nine-month, non-tenure track position. The intent of this announcement is to identify a pool of non-tenure-track faculty for these programs. These are variable-time, term, non-tenure-track positions that are contingent on available funding and enrollment. Reappointment is possible based on performance, programmatic need and budget availability. This position is represented by SIU Carbondale Non-Tenure Track Faculty Association/IEA-NEA. Actual salary for part-time appointments will be prorated based on the percentage FTE of the appointment.
