PUBLIC SERVICE DEPARTMENT SERVICE PERSON

Springfield Township is seeking a full-time Public Service Dept. Service Person with good work ethicsand communication skills, self-motivated, safety conscious, quality driven, and dependable. Must be ableto perform heavy labor and work outdoors for extended periods of time. Required duties include, but arenot limited to, cemetery and park maintenance, janitorial services, sewer repair/maintenance, road repairand building maintenance. Experience is desirable with snowplows, dump trucks, backhoes, end loadersand mowers. Will consider experience as well as proficiency in electrical installation, concreteconstruction, drywall construction and repair, mechanical, welding, plumbing, landscaping, irrigationsystem maintenance, HVAC maintenance, painting, and equipment operation. At least a high schooldiploma or GED is required.
