The Times of Northwest Indiana, a division of Lee Enterprises, is seeking a curious, driven and enthusiastic sports features writer to join its newsroom. The successful candidate will be passionate about telling stories about people and teams - not just covering athletic events. We're looking for someone who highlights the people, teams, trends and news that shape the landscape of sports in our three-county region located just south of Chicago. The person must be excited to keep us ahead of the curve with digitally focused components like photo, video and social media packages. Responsibilities include coverage of the high schools in Lake, Porter and La Porte counties, as well as local colleges and community sports. The Times of Northwest Indiana is the Hoosier State's second-largest newspaper and offers an opportunity to work alongside hard-working, award-winning journalists on stories that matter to the community.
