Office Assistant

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on hourly rate)

The Upper Blue Sanitation District is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the efficient daily operations of the District. This position plays an important role in serving the community, supporting internal staff, and ensuring that office functions run smoothly and accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, service-minded, and able to balance multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support to the District
• Assisting the public, vendors, and staff in person, by phone, and via email
• Performing routine office tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, mail processing, and scheduling
• Maintaining District records and ensuring documents are accurate, current, and properly stored
• Supporting District programs, meetings, and operational needs as assigned
• Upholding a high level of confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of administrative or office experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
